      Purpose of Position:

      Provide basic support to the Pharmacy department to include, but not limited to, taking inventory, cashiering, stocking and providing customer service.

      Uphold the organization’s vision, mission, and corporate values. Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with organization’s policies, procedures, code of conduct and work rules.

      Essential Functions:

      • Train to assist pharmacists with tasks that support the pharmacy operation including cleaning, organizing, and restocking supplies

      • Process incoming village totes, fill village stock requests and assist with transportation to the airport

      • Provide excellent customer service by answering phones, performing the duties of a cashier, processing transactions and monitoring pharmacyrx email

      • Receive, inventory and stock medications according to pharmacy protocols and maintain inventory of office and other pharmacy supplies

      • Check medications for outdates, segregating outdated medications in designated area, putting away order shipments in designated locations, adhering to all storage specifications and restocking floor stock daily

      • Fill dental and audiology bags

      • Perform other duties as assigned

      Valid AK Driver’s License, Must apply for State of Alaska Pharmacy Technician License within one week of start date

      Physical Requirements:

      ∙Use hands and arms to operate office or clinical equipment

      ∙View electronic monitors for prolonged periods of time

      Working Conditions:

      ∙Work is conducted in a standard office environment
