- Coordinate the facilitation of and/or lead cultural arts activities including carving, sewing, and drum making for BHS clients, Day Shelter Guests, and other approved participants.
- Maintain scheduling control of the designated carving, sewing, and kitchenette spaces and work with Administrative Director or designee to develop and maintain policies and procedures for each space.
- Manage inventory control of all materials needed for cultural arts activities including carving, sewing, cooking, and drum making.
- Maintain and promote safety measures and protocols for each activity and space used for instruction.
- Coordinate with BHS Outreach Committee to promote activity availability.
- Support Day Shelter staff members and Guests with organized cultural activities, including subsistence activities, and resource development.
- Assist and/or facilitate group services under the direction of the Lead Clinician for Substance Use Disorder Services.
- Assist connecting/referring people seeking substance use and/or mental health services to Behavioral Health Services scheduling.
- Maintain confidentiality of all participants of cultural arts activities.
- Contribute to the development of BHS recovery programs.

Purpose of Position:
To coordinate facilitation of and/or lead and instruct others in cultural arts activities including carving, sewing, and drum making. To manage Wellness and Training Center carving, sewing, and kitchenette rooms including safety oversight, inventory control, and scheduling.
